Lisa is passionate about providing quality, cost effective legal services, with a strong focus on risk management.
Having litigated commercial and employment cases for many years, Lisa enjoys the opportunity to assist parties in resolving disputes through arbitration and mediation as a cost-effective alternative to litigation.
Lisa is a frequent speaker on alternative dispute resolution, recognizing the importance of educating litigators, in-house lawyers, business owners and transactional attorneys on the value of using arbitration agreements as a risk management tool.
Lisa works with employers to facilitate internal employment disputes before they escalate into litigation. Relying on her extensive experience litigating ADA claims, Lisa uses her knowledge to facilitate the ADA interactive process between employers and employees as well as discussions between students, teachers, and school districts in developing and implementing Section 504 plans.
Lisa also offers facilitation and mediation services for families, residents, and long-term care facilities, assisting them in developing care plans and resolving issues that arise in implementing the care plans.
Lisa has been teaching a three day Internal Investigation Certification class for several years and also investigates internal employment complaints relating to harassment, discrimination, retaliation and other employment matters.

“I had learnt the true practice of law. I had learnt to find the better side of human nature and to enter men’s hearts. I realized the true function of a lawyer was to unite parties riven asunder. The lesson was so indelibly burnt into me that a large part of my time during the twenty years of my practice as a lawyer was occupied in bringing about private compromises of hundreds of cases. I lost nothing thereby –not even money, certainly not my soul.” – Mahatma Gandhi
